Turkish singer who shot to fame in Turkey in the 1970s after appearing
in films, has finally revealed the secrets behind her glamorous looks
A stunning 71-year-old Turkish singer, Ajda Pekkan, who shot to
fame in Turkey in the 1970s, says she looks half her age thanks to her
diet – of kebabs.
The pretty grand-mother who revealed the secrets behind her
glamorous looks in an interview with local media, told reporters that in
addition to regular workouts, a boob job and anti-ageing spas in
Switzerland, her “healthy diet” kept her in shape.
Ajda said: “I am always very careful about what I am eating. I can't say I limit my choice in food. I like kebab and fish.”
“I'm walking, drinking a lot of water. I cannot think of life
without water. Every morning I drink ginger-lemon-honey mixture in a
glass of water.
“I never wanted to be a beautiful woman figure. But I always
protect my body. Genetics and sport are very important to stay in
shape.”
She appeared alongside women from other countries such as A-listers
Susan Sarandon, Emma Stone and Jessica Lange. But despite her advancing
years, Ajda says she is also now thinking about having a baby.
